About
Hey, I'm Tom Han — an AI Solutions Architect based in Beijing, specializing in fintech and retail banking digital transformation. With dual perspectives from consulting delivery and startup building, I help teams find practical paths through complex distributed system challenges.
On the professional side, I've delivered multiple industry projects in retail banking AI innovation, precision marketing, digital channel operations, marketing platforms, data platforms, and data security governance — and I'm continuously documenting methods, insights, and lessons learned in writing for peer exchange.
On the hobby side, I build full-stack products driven by algo models: investment event analysis, financial figure databases, AI consulting assistants and other intelligent tools; medium-to-high frequency quantitative trading strategy engines; and some specialized mobile apps and utility plugins.
What I Do
- Fintech · Retail Banking Digital Transformation (AI Mobile Banking, AI Agent Platforms, Algo Strategy, BI Systems, Precision Marketing, Data Platforms, Tagging & Profiling, Data Security Governance)
- Data Engineering · Modern ETL (Dagster, dbt, ClickHouse, Kafka)
- AI Applications & Agents · Small & Large Model Orchestration · Context Engineering · Evaluation Set Management · Agent Development (MCP, RAG)
- Cloud-Native Architecture & Platform Engineering (K8s/Docker Swarm, Terraform, GitOps)
- Multi-Cloud Architecture Practice (Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Baidu AI Cloud)
Background
Starting from quantitative research, I moved into management consulting and spent years deeply serving banking clients on digital transformation, developing a systems methodology rooted in business problems and powered by data platform engineering and AI applications. From 2019–2022 I ran my own startup, exploring productization and end-to-end technical architecture.
Outside of Work
When I'm not building systems, I enjoy experimenting with productivity tools and automation scripts, and occasionally doing some video editing.
